Portugieser 2025

The winter and spring precipitation had a positive effect on the development of the grapes, and the summer heat – although it was dry – was more balanced than last year: the nightly cool-downs gave freshness to the bunches. The harvest started on August 18 with the Rosé Frici raw material, followed by the White Frici and Italian Riesling, followed by the light and finally the full-bodied red wines. The grapes were healthy, rich in aromas and of outstanding quality – both the quantity and quality of the harvest were a reason to rejoice. The 2025 vintage continues the series of excellent vintages in the history of the Gere Winery. Harmonious acids, ripe fruitiness and excellent balance characterize all of the wines that can already be tasted, so we are confident that our wines will also win the recognition of our consumers this year.
